• 以下の国外の運転免許証、又は、失効した日本の運転免許証をお持ちの方は、ご予約の際に必ずお伝えください。

  You must prepare the following documents and  fees:

• 外国免許証 ※古いものがある場合はすべて

A foreign driver's license　※If you have any expired licenses after renewals, provide all of them

• 外国免許証の日本語翻訳文(大使館、領事館又は日本自動車連盟(JAF)、ジップラス株式会社、訪日運転支援協会で翻訳したもの)
  A Japanese translation of your foreign driver’s license (translated by the embassy/consulate of the country, Japan Automobile Federation(JAF), ZIPLUS Co., Ltd., or Automobile License Assistance and Driving Documentation in Nippon(ALADDIN)).
• 旅券（パスポート）※古いものがある場合はすべて

Passport ※If you have any old passports after renewals, provide all of them

• 国際免許証（所持している方）

International driving permits (If you have any)

• 日本の運転免許証を持っている方は、その運転免許証

The valid Japanese driver's license -holder brings with the driver's license

• 日本の運転免許証を持っていない方で
  The first applicant for Japanese license brings with
  • 長中期滞在者は住民票（外国人は国籍等、日本人は本籍記載のもの）
    A certificate of residence with record of nationality or domicile of origin for a long-term or a midterm resident

• 失効した日本の運転免許証を持っている方は、その運転免許証

The non valid (expired) Japanese driver's license-holder brings with it

• 運転免許申請書、顔写真（3cm×2.4cm、6か月以内に撮影したもの）

In addition, your application for a Japanese driver's license needs a photograph (3cm×2.4cm) that was taken within the last six months
