Our company is developing various businesses categorized in 3 major business areas.

Firstly Electronics Business; which handles special power sources for communication, medical, and semiconductor manufacturing instrument, and semiconductor device products.

Secondly Mechatronics Business; which handles precision mechanical parts such as bearings, industrial electric welding machines, and system instrument.

Thirdly Chemitronics Business; which handles synthetic resin coatings for mold-formed plastic parts widely applicable for car interiors, or for electric home appliances.

Within those products, this plant handles 2 product ranges. One is semiconductor device products. Our plant is responsible for product development and wafer processing as a front-half process, a rear-half process is outsourced to our partners in and out of Japan including our subsidiary company, Hokkaido Origin Electric Co., Ltd..
The other is bearings and its application products. The integrated organizations of marketing, product development, production, and shipment of precision mechanical parts are situated in this plant. Our products are actively working as an important functional part of various products such as office automation, medical, and optical equipment.

Tochigi Prefecture and its Business Environment

Geologically there is no active faults near here and very seldom to be affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes and flooding are specifically attracting us very much . The main computer server of our network system, used to be in the head office in Tokyo, had been transferred into this plant several years ago.
Also the improvements of traffic infrastructures, such as the completion of the Kitakanto Expressway and further enhancement of Shinkansen and other public transportation networks, helps us to expand our business.

We believe, it is very seldom to see our product for people in general. In the field of Office Automation equipment, such as copy machines, and ATM machines, a function to prevent duplicated feeding of papers or moneys is required, highly reliable bearings (one-way clutch, torque limiter) developed, designed and manufactured by our company are installed on those machines. Our company's acquired development capabilities and technologies for many years are able to respond to a variety of functions and features required from customers.

For semiconductors which are installed on every electronics instruments, we are doing wafer processing, the most important process in semiconductor manufacturing, within a super clean room equipped in this plant. The semiconductor devises made from wafers are used in a broad range of social fields in digital cameras, game machines, automobiles, medical X-ray machines, and electric microscopes, etc.

Mamada plant is playing the roll of mother plant, and the whole process, from research and development to production, is completed on the premises. We believe that all products manufactured in this plant are really "Made in Tochigi " products.　

Contributing Local Community

A part of the dormitory of our employees is opened for public, specifically for elderly in the surrounding communities as "Iki-Iki-Fureai-Center". It is frequently used as a place for their communications with friends or, for enjoyment for lively lives in the community.
In addition, we participate in cleaning activities of Omoigawa river and Watarase retarding basin as an annual event, and cleaning of neighboring parks are periodically organized.

We are participating in environment improvement activities such as Eco-cap activities also, and had been recognized in the highest rank of 3-stars by the Tochigi Prefecture Eco-Keeper Operations in 2009, and the same highest rank of 3-stars by the Oyama City Eco-recycle Operations in 2010 too.
Green-curtain activities (putting greenery around facilities to reduce the use of electricity in summer) also have been started, and it was awarded by the Oyama City in 2010. Those appraisals for our activities giving us encouragements to continuously proceed further ahead with improvements.

As already mentioned, we are doing cleaning activities of neighboring areas by specifying the date, areas, and responsible departments for each area every month. It's important to increase an awareness for environment through out our daily life by organizing the activities all together in the company,

Mamada plant's products are equipped in a broad range of products such as digital cameras, game machines, solar panels at home, ATM machines in banks, copy machines, and medical instruments. They are really used in the places where you are familiar with.
