In this issue we visited Tochigi Engineering Factory and interviewed with Minehiro Ishikura.
【Wet Type Large Circulation Crusher "SC Mill"】
This Tochigi Factory was established in 1965 as Mitsui Miike Seisakusho Co., Ltd. in this place.
The operation was started amid an expansion of our petrochemical plant business, later powder granular equipment, such as industrial mixer and crusher are added, and they became the main products of this factory.
In our powder granular equipment business, as a general manufacturer of plant facilities and a variety of equipment, we delivers the products manufactured in Tochigi Factory in Japan and countries in the world. At the same time, we are continuously pursuing advanced technologies of powder granular processing by applying the technologies and know-how accumulated over the years.
In the Powder Technical Center within this plant, processing tests, for the materials customers brought in, are conducted by using the cutting-edge facilities with meeting the various needs of customers. New products development also takes place in here.
Our products are used at customers in all over the world. A well-arranged transportation infrastructure and the existence of large companies and highly stilled small companies in Tochigi, provides a strength in the aspects of parts procurements and products distributions for us having the manufacturing and research and development functions in Tochigi.
Especially it is beneficial for our products distribution aspect for us. We deliver products to many factories of large companies, but they are not concentrated in the Tokyo metropolitan area, its spread all over Japan. We feel Tochigi is a good location for logistics, locating at the vicinity of the center of Japan,
Also thankful to having a few natural disasters. Hereafter, we are planning to strengthen corporate-wide risk management for disasters, and we may keep the cost for risk management in low enough in Tochigi, because of less disasters such as earthquakes.

By providing industry leading advanced technologies, our powder & granular business
is supporting "Monozukuri" by meeting to every needs of industries with products, such as dispersing machines, kneader "Niidex" , but also industries's standard machines, high performance mixer "FM mixer", and ultra fine milling machine "Atoraita".
Those products may not so popular for the public because it is seldom to see them, but many of our products are leading the industry of powder & granular, and we are proud that they are representing the industries.
We participate in the Local Safety Association of the Police Station, with taking a patrol for stations and parks with police person monthly. Also volunteer activities, such as local cleaning activities are performed.
Tochigi factory was inaugurated in1965, since then form ore than 45 years, we are succeeding our business by the supports and cooperations from the neighboring people. We continue our activities as a factory to contribute to the local people and community. We appreciated very much for your continued supports.
